Dua Lipa Finally Gets Her Shakira Moment — Live in Madrid
It finally happened. On October 3, 2026, Dua Lipa joined Shakira onstage in Madrid for a surprise performance of “Antología” during the eighth concert of Shaki’s Madrid residency — and honestly, there could hardly have been a more perfect song for the moment.
Shakira introduced Dua as a woman she admires and loves before officially declaring herself a fan, and the two slipped into the Pies Descalzos classic together. The appearance marked the first time Shakira and Dua Lipa had performed together onstage, even after years of very public mutual admiration.
The song choice came with its own history. Dua had already made her affection for “Antología” very clear when she performed the 1995 track during her own Bogotá concert in 2025. This time, she got to sing it next to the woman who wrote it.

The Madrid run has already turned into a proper guest-star parade, but this one had a different kind of payoff. Dua has never been shy about being a Shakira fan, and hearing the two voices meet on one of Shaki’s most beloved early songs made the surprise feel less like stunt casting and more like a long-delayed pop full-circle moment.
And yes, Shaki introducing Dua only to have the crowd immediately realize where the night was headed? Exactly the kind of residency surprise you want: recognizable, emotional and actually connected to the artists involved.
