Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is a London-born singer and songwriter whose polished pop connects disco, dance, house and contemporary electronic production. Raised in a Kosovar-Albanian family, she began releasing music professionally in the mid-2010s before breaking through with her 2017 self-titled debut, home to “New Rules,” “Be the One” and “IDGAF.” Her second album, Future Nostalgia (2020), sharpened her retro-dance vocabulary through singles including “Don’t Start Now,” “Physical” and “Levitating.” On Radical Optimism (2024), Lipa expanded that palette with more live instrumentation and psychedelic, Britpop and trip-hop influences while retaining her instinct for direct, highly melodic pop. Her work also includes collaborations with Calvin Harris, Silk City, Elton John, Miley Cyrus and Barbie soundtrack contributors.
