Mark Your Calendars On Us: The 2026 ARIA Awards are returning to Sydney on Wednesday, November 18, with Spotify back as presenting partner as the ceremony marks its 40th anniversary.
Held at the Hordern Pavilion on Gadigal land, the milestone edition honors four decades of Australian musique while putting the country’s biggest artists, emerging talent and industry leaders on its ginormous global stage.
The awards will return to Network 10 and stream live on Paramount+, giving audiences both free-to-air and streaming options for the big night.

Spotify Returns as Presenting Partner for the 40th ARIAs
This is not Spotify’s debut with the ARIAs. The platform partnered with the awards in 2025 and returns for 2026 as presenting partner, with Spotify Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Mikaela Lancaster saying the goal is to turn the night’s attention into longer-term streams, fans and opportunities for Australian artists.
The 2026 ARIA Nominations Drop Tomorrow
And before November gets here, the nominations shall unveil themselves TOMORROW — Thursday, September 24. The live nominations event, hosted by Georgie Tunny, begins at 10 a.m. AEST and will reveal artists across 29 categories.
ARIA will stream the nominations announcement live through its official site, with coverage also available via 10. Consider the countdown officially activated.
Forty years in, the ARIAs are using the anniversary to look both backward and forward: honoring the artists who built Australian music’s legacy while setting the stage for the next batch of names ready to push it outward.
