Abercrombie & Fitch Mixes Ivy Prep With Relaxed Workwear for Pre-Fall 2026

Model Raphael Diogo is giving American prep a looser dress code for Abercrombie & Fitch’s Pre-Fall 2026 edit, where collegiate staples meet denim, workwear and the relaxed proportions that have become a big part of the brand’s current menswear.

There are striped ties, chambray shirts and loafers in the mix, but nobody looks like they are rushing off to class. Instead, Abercrombie pairs those Ivy references with roomy jeans, trucker jackets and easy layers, letting the familiar prep codes get a little rumpled around the edges.

One of the strongest looks doubles down on denim, with Diogo wearing a trucker jacket over a chambray shirt and finishing it with a loosely knotted striped tie. It is the kind of Ivy-meets-workwear combination that has been floating through American menswear for decades, but the roomier cut keeps it from feeling like a costume.

Elsewhere, a striped poplin shirt lands with white jeans, brown suede tassel loafers and a red sweater draped over the shoulders. Another look pairs a washed red jacket with a corduroy collar, striped tie and dark denim. None of it is trying too hard, which may be the point: a tie here, a loafer there and suddenly everyday denim starts leaning collegiate.
