Jono Forlee Slips “Between Frames” for a Striking MMSCENE Exclusive

Check out the smoke show that is Jono Forlee. Represented by KULT Models Germany, the rising model takes center frame in “Between Frames,” a new MMSCENE STYLE STORIES exclusive photographed and styled by Nawid Qureischi.

The August 2026 editorial keeps its focus right where it belongs: on Forlee. Rather than forcing a heavy narrative, Qureischi builds the story through subtle changes in posture, expression and styling, moving between more composed fashion frames and moments that feel looser and less guarded.

Qureischi also handles the styling, mixing pieces from ARKET, ARMEDANGELS, COS, Copenhagen Studios, Polo Ralph Lauren, Mavi, Diesel, FREIKOERPER, Valentino, Vagabond, Levi’s, BDG Jeans, Weekday, Axel Arigato, G-Star RAW and Kangol.

The wardrobe runs from clean outerwear and denim to bolder styling touches, including pieces from Diesel, FREIKOERPER and Valentino. There is enough variety to keep the shoot moving, but the through line remains Forlee himself — calm, controlled and very aware of what the camera is doing.

It is a simple formula, and a good one: strong model, strong wardrobe, no unnecessary noise. Sometimes the space between the big fashion moments is exactly where somebody makes the biggest impression.
