65 UK Top 10s Later, Madonna Is Still Making Chart History
The Queen of Pop is all the way baaaack. Not that Madonna ever really left, but the numbers are doing the shouting now.
Madonna and Kylie Minogue’s “Love Sensation” has debuted at No. 8 on the main UK Official Singles Chart, giving Madonna a record-extending 65th UK Top 10 single and her highest-charting UK hit since “Celebration” reached No. 3 in 2009.
And because one chart flex apparently was not enough, the collaboration also reached No. 1 on the Official Singles Sales Chart, Official Singles Downloads Chart and Official Physical Singles Chart. Mother said receipts.

The milestone pushes Madonna’s already absurd UK tally even further: only Elvis Presley and Cliff Richard currently have more Top 10 singles in Official Chart history. Her 65 Top 10s now stretch across four different decades.
Kylie is hardly arriving empty-handed either. “Love Sensation” becomes her 37th UK Top 10 single, with her Top 10 run stretching across five consecutive decades. Before this collaboration, Madonna and Kylie had exactly 100 individual UK Top 10 credits between them. Now? 102.
The duet itself was decades in the making. “Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix)” marks Madonna and Kylie’s first official recorded collaboration, reworking the Confessions II track with Kylie joining the mix and longtime Madonna collaborator Stuart Price behind the production.
Before the record officially dropped through Warner Records on August 6, Madonna and Kylie gave it a live debut at Club Confessions during WorldPride Amsterdam. Kylie emerged as the surprise guest at AFAS Live, joining Madonna for the new track before the pair also revisited “Sorry.”
Which, naturally, we were covering in real time — because Madonna plus Kylie plus Stuart Price plus WorldPride was never going to be a “we’ll check back tomorrow” situation around here.
The Amsterdam appearance was another full-circle moment for the two pop icons. They had finally shared a stage for the first time during Madonna’s Celebration Tour in Los Angeles in March 2024, performing Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and Kylie’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” Two years later, they were no longer just sharing a stage. They had a record together.
And “Love Sensation” is not merely sneaking onto a nostalgia-driven specialty tally. No. 8 on the Official Singles Chart is Madonna’s best UK singles showing in 17 years. It also gives Confessions II its third UK Top 40 single after “Bring Your Love” and “Danceteria,” making it Madonna’s first album to produce three UK Top 40 hits since Hard Candy in 2008.
So yes, we are going to say it again: the Queen of Pop is all the way baaaack. And this time she brought Kylie with her.
