Mediterranean Light, Salt Air and Xavier Serrano Continue the Acqua di Giò Legacy

The one and only supermodel Xavier Serrano fronts the latest Acqua di Giò chapter.
It is the newest installment in the franchise saga for Giorgio Armani’s long-running and legendary fragrance, returning once more to the sun, sea and unmistakable Mediterranean ease that have defined it for more than three decades.
Xavier Serrano appears against an open Mediterranean horizon, holding the familiar frosted bottle against a sea-lit silver shirt. Tousled hair, bare skin and one calm supermodel stare complete the latest vision of the Acqua di Giò man.
The campaign does not attempt to pull the fragrance away from its roots. Instead, it leans directly into the elements that made the scent such an enduring success: water, sunlight, clean skin, mineral freshness and the freedom associated with life beside the sea.
Acqua di Giò opens with marine notes alongside Calabrian bergamot, neroli and green tangerine. Rosemary and persimmon shape the heart before Indonesian patchouli and cedarwood settle into the base.
That balance helped make the fragrance a modern classic. It is fresh without disappearing instantly, crisp without becoming cold and aquatic without smelling like somebody emptied an entire swimming pool into the bottle.
More than three decades into the Acqua di Giò franchise saga, Giorgio Armani clearly understands there is no reason to abandon a winning fantasy. The sea is still blue, the bottle is still frosted and the campaign man is still expected to look as though he has never experienced a stressful afternoon in his life.
This time, that beautifully unbothered assignment belongs to Xavier Serrano. The Spanish supermodel gives the chapter the natural confidence it needs, balancing the polished Giorgio Armani image with the relaxed sensuality long attached to Acqua di Giò.
The newest campaign may be another installment in an established fragrance universe, but Xavier makes the familiar formula feel worthy of one more return to the Mediterranean.
