Sandro takes modern Parisian elegance somewhere far more theatrical

Catch Sandro unleashing its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign inside one of Paris’ most theatrical landmarks: the Opéra-Comique.
Rather than simply borrowing the building as a grand old backdrop, Sandro pushes deeper into it — through costume workshops, backstage corridors and performance spaces — to build a campaign around the meeting point between heritage and contemporary movement.
Photographed by Hart Lëshkina, styled by Joe McKenna and art-directed by Atelier Franck Durand, the campaign stars models Betsy Gaghan and Joseph Uyttenhove.

The Opéra-Comique is more than a pretty Paris backdrop
Sandro describes the campaign as a dialogue between heritage and contemporary expression, with fashion coming alive through the language of contemporary dance.
That makes the Opéra-Comique a particularly smart setting. Instead of lingering only in its ornate public rooms, the campaign slips into the machinery behind performance — the workshops and backstage spaces where costumes, bodies and movement are prepared before anybody sees the final show.
It mirrors the clothes themselves: polished on the surface, but dependent on cut, fabric, construction and all the quiet technical work underneath.

Menswear gets its strength from layering rather than noise
For men, Sandro builds the season around refined layering and luxurious fabrics, creating silhouettes that feel confident without becoming stiff or overly formal.
That restraint is exactly why the theatrical setting works. The architecture can bring the drama while the clothes stay controlled: strong outerwear, polished knits, clean trousers and layers that look considered rather than piled on.
The women’s side reaches back toward the 1970s through structured tailoring, fluid satin and Sandro’s signature knitwear, giving the full campaign a nice push-and-pull between softness and structure.

The campaign imagery keeps that same tension alive: heritage interiors against contemporary styling, polished fashion against working backstage spaces, and still portraits shaped by the idea of movement.

It is a fitting frame for Sandro’s version of contemporary elegance: heritage without costume, polish without stiffness, and enough movement to keep the whole thing from feeling preserved behind glass.
