Jordin Sparks is an American singer-songwriter who became the youngest winner of American Idol when she took the title in 2007 at age 17. Her self-titled debut produced the hits “Tattoo” and “No Air,” the latter a major duet with Chris Brown, while Battlefield extended her run of polished pop and R&B. Later projects including Right Here Right Now and No Restrictions showed a more independent, mature approach to contemporary R&B, and Sparks has continued releasing and performing new music alongside her work in film, television and theater.
