Fresh off her Dancing With the Stars run, Kelly traded ballroom polish for full-on Pussycat Dolls burlesque, joining Robin Antin’s troupe at the Viper Room in West Hollywood on Sept. 1, 2010.
And yes, our original headline was simply: “Kelly Osbourne Is Sexy.” Subtlety? Never heard of her.

Twitter Told Us The Plan Before Anybody Hit The Stage
In beautifully 2010 fashion, Kelly basically live-blogged the day herself. She tweeted that she was shooting two episodes of Dr. Phil before heading over to the Viper Room to rehearse for the Pussycat Dolls show that night.
She also shared the blond-hair reveal alongside Carmen Electra and PCD creator Robin Antin. No carefully timed campaign rollout. No six-slide “photo dump.” Just Twitter, a camera phone and a night out on the Sunset Strip.
Kelly later said she would be doing “13 Men” and “Big Spender” — and contemporary coverage confirms she hit the stage alongside Electra and Mýa as the burlesque troupe returned to the club where the Pussycat Dolls story originally began.
The Viper Room Guest List Was Peak 2010 Internet
The room was basically a scrolling celebrity-news sidebar come to life: Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Sharon Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, Malin Akerman and more were among the names spotted at the show.
Kim even tweeted during the night that Kelly had “killed it,” praising the singing, dancing and costumes. Again: there was a time when a celebrity tweet from inside a club could become half the next morning’s entertainment-news cycle. We were there. We refreshed.
And Yes, “Kelly Osbourne Is Sexy” Still Makes Us Smile
There is something perfect about reopening an INYIM post from 2010 and finding a headline that wastes absolutely no time explaining itself.
Kelly had come out of Dancing With the Stars with a whole new confidence, Robin Antin put her into the Pussycat Dolls universe, the Viper Room was full of familiar faces and the internet did what the internet used to do best: post the pictures immediately and scream about them.
No discourse thread required. Kelly was busy. Kelly was blond. Kelly was dancing. And, according to 2010 INYIM, Kelly was sexy.
BTW: we still love her 2005 album Sleeping in the Nothing. That record deserved way more attention than it got.
