Jacob Elordi Makes Cartier’s Most Famous Bracelet Feel Effortlessly Modern

Actor turned fashion fixture Jacob Elordi is back in model mode — this time for Cartier.
The Australian star fronts a new chapter for the house’s legendary LOVE collection, bringing his easy, understated cool to the LOVE Unlimited bracelet. The campaign was directed by Sofia Coppola and shot in New York, the same city where Cartier’s original LOVE bracelet was created in 1969.

LOVE Unlimited Reworks a Cartier Signature Without Losing the Screws
The original LOVE bracelet, designed by Aldo Cipullo, became one of modern jewelry’s most recognizable designs through its close-fitting oval shape and exposed screw motif. LOVE Unlimited keeps that visual language while loosening things up — literally.
Cartier describes LOVE Unlimited as a flexible bracelet, giving the long-running design a more fluid construction while preserving those instantly recognizable screws. Current versions are offered in yellow, rose and white gold.
On Elordi, the piece lands exactly where Cartier wants it: less precious-object-under-glass, more jewelry that becomes part of the person wearing it. The campaign keeps the styling stripped back enough that the bracelet does not have to compete for attention.

Sofia Coppola Keeps the Cartier Fantasy Quiet
Instead of turning the jewelry into some high-gloss sci-fi object, Coppola’s campaign leans into restraint. The Fashionisto describes the New York images through soft light, stillness and pared-back styling, with Elordi appearing in simple pieces including white shirting and dark knitwear.
That approach suits both the actor and the bracelet. Elordi has become one of menswear’s most watched celebrity dressers precisely because he tends to make luxury look lived-in rather than overworked. Cartier puts that instinct to use here.
There is also a nice full-circle detail in Coppola directing the campaign. She previously directed Elordi as Elvis Presley in Priscilla, and this reunion swaps the film’s highly constructed period image-making for something much more stripped down.

Elordi may still be an actor first, but between Cartier, Bottega Veneta and a growing list of luxury campaigns, the modeling side hustle is looking less and less like a side hustle.
