The 2026 Emmys Just Turned Its Presenter List Into Event Television
Zendaya, Marcello Hernández, Macaulay Culkin and a whole lot more are headed to the stage for the 78th Emmy Awards, with NBC and the Television Academy revealing the first wave of presenters for the 2026 ceremony.
The list is properly stacked: Odessa A’zion, David Boreanaz, Linda Cardellini, Macaulay Culkin, Alan Cumming, Sally Field, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jon Hamm, David Harbour, Marcello Hernández, Kate Jackson, Peter Krause, Cheryl Ladd, Dan Levy, Julianna Margulies, Annie Murphy, Niecy Nash-Betts, Keke Palmer, Amanda Peet, Amy Poehler, Florence Pugh, Rachel Sennott, Jaclyn Smith and Zendaya are all confirmed so far, with more names still to come.

The 2026 Emmys Are Loading Up
The presenter list is already doing half the work. Check the official Emmy Awards details, then settle in with a couple of very television-coded extras.

There are also a couple of reunion-coded moments baked right into that lineup. Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz will both be in the building, while Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith give us a proper Charlie’s Angels trio on the same presenter list. The ceremony has not even started and somebody in casting already understood the assignment.
And then there is the sheer range of it all. Zendaya and Florence Pugh. Sally Field and Amy Poehler. Keke Palmer and Niecy Nash-Betts. Macaulay Culkin and Jon Hamm. It reads less like a presenter announcement and more like somebody kept saying, “Okay, but who else can we get?” until the page ran out of room.
Mariska Hargitay will host the 78th Emmy Awards, taking over the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Monday, September 14, 2026. The show airs live coast-to-coast on NBC beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and will stream live and on demand on Peacock.
The first presenter batch is already strong enough to make the in-between moments feel like their own show, which is exactly what an awards telecast needs. Give us the trophies, yes. But also give us a random pairing at a podium that briefly makes the entire internet lose its mind.
More presenters are still coming, so apparently this list is not even done showing off yet.
