Sun-Bleached Tailoring, Textured Polos and Coastal Summer Ease

Valentin Humbroich steps into Banana Republic’s June 2026 edit, bringing the brand’s summer tailoring, textured knitwear, and coastal polish into a wardrobe built for sun, movement, and that expensive little vacation feeling.
The edit heads to Portugal’s Alentejo Coast, where wide beaches, pine-covered hills, sun-bleached landscapes, and relaxed afternoons give the clothes their whole mood. It is very Banana Republic: travel fantasy, but make it wearable.
The strongest pull here is texture. The double-breasted Italian cotton-linen seersucker suit jacket brings a crinkled summer finish and soft-shouldered tailoring, while the bouclé stripe sweater polo adds that open-collar, resort-smooth ease that makes a simple outfit look fully considered.
Valentin Humbroich gives the edit its polished model charge, moving through structured pieces without making them feel stiff. The tailoring stays light, the knits stay tactile, and the whole thing lands somewhere between coastal holiday, quiet luxury, and “yes, I did pack the good jacket.”
The full Banana Republic story also features Nuno Marques, adding to the edit’s soft summer rhythm. Together, the images make a case for warm-weather dressing that is not lazy: linen, seersucker, knit texture, sun, and just enough structure to keep the vacation looking expensive.
