Oh, you know her name. It's just grunge Rock Queen Courtney Love and she's unloading some legendary threads...
"Make me over. Courtney Love has teamed up with women’s clothing resale website Heroine to sell off a few of her most legendary outfits beginning on Thursday, Dec. 6.
The grunge idol, 54, is parting with 43 pieces from her personal collection, including dresses by Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Marc Jacobs. Shoppers can also expect lots of Saint Laurent, including the suit Love wore in the brand’s fall 2013 ad campaign shot by Hedi Slimane.
Prices for the items will begin at $50 for T-shirts, going up to $1,300 for a McQueen gown straight off the runway and $1,400 for the aforementioned Saint Laurent suit.
“I recently just did a bunch of stuff [to declutter] my life, throwing things out that didn’t serve me,” Love told Vogue. “But my closet was too amazing to throw out. I think that a wardrobe is a living, breathing thing, like, I’ve been known to talk to my dresses.”
A portion of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to Stand for Courage, a non-profit committed to championing bullying prevention founded by Nicole Jon Sievers, the Hole frontwoman’s sister." - Pagesix.com
