Woopsies! This beautiful bull sure looked like he had had enough. Malacara, a 508-kilogram bull from the Los Espartales ranch, suddenly cleared the wooden safety barrier during the final event of the 2026 Feria Taurina de Murcia in Spain — heading straight toward the narrow passageway and the spectators just beyond it.
The literal wild and spontaneous moment went down on September 20 at the Plaza de Toros de Murcia. Footage from the stands shows Malacara charging across the ring before launching himself over the barrier, coming startlingly close to the person filming and the front rows behind the concrete wall.
And this was not a one-and-done escape attempt. The bullring’s own event account confirms that Malacara jumped into the exit alley twice during the afternoon. Somehow, no injuries were reported from either jump.

Meet Malacara: 508 Kilograms and Very Much Not Staying Put
Malacara was the sixth and final bull of the event, a corrida de rejones that closed Murcia’s 2026 fair. Official event information lists him at 508 kilograms, born in February 2022 and bred by Los Espartales.
He had been assigned to Portuguese rejoneador Duarte Fernandes. Shortly after entering the ring, Malacara cleared the barrier into the callejón — the narrow passage separating the bullring from the spectator seating — before later doing it again near one of the protected openings.
That distinction matters: despite how alarming the footage looks, the bull did not land directly in the seated stands. The concrete wall between the alley and the first rows remained the final bit of separation between Malacara and the crowd.
No One Was Hurt — Malacara Was Not So Lucky
The crowd got a massive scare, but officials reported no injuries from Malacara’s two trips over the barrier. The bull was returned to the ring and the event continued.
Malacara was later killed as part of the bullfight. Reports from the event say Fernandes used a rejón de muerte before a verduguillo was needed to finish the animal. So yes, the spectators escaped the ferocious little detour unharmed; the beautiful bull at the center of it did not get the same ending.
