We genuinely do not know what is cuter here: the puppies, Zendaya trying to maintain order or Tommy Holland surrendering to complete canine chaos.
Zendaya and Tom Holland reunited for BuzzFeed Celeb’s Puppy Interview while promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but the puppies had their own production plan. Within minutes, they were climbing, wrestling, circling the studio, chewing on fingers and briefly discovering an electric cable—which immediately turned Holland and Zendaya into two very glamorous substitute teachers.
“This is like my favorite thing about press tours,” Holland declared before the puppies arrived. By the end, the pair openly admitted they had barely answered the questions because the entire room had been overtaken by tiny paws, surprise kisses and several little terrors refusing to respect the interview format.

Zendaya Has A Way With Puppies—Tom Knows It Too
Before the dogs entered, Holland predicted they would gravitate toward Zendaya because “she has a way with puppies.” Zendaya wisely refused to assume anything, noting that every puppy is different. Then the doors opened and any attempt at scientific observation was immediately replaced by squealing.
The two also compared the newcomers with their own dogs. Their 10-year-old dog would apparently find the situation far too stressful, while Noon—affectionately referred to as the “chunky man”—would be having the time of his life.
Holland’s own specialist subjects soon emerged. Asked what he could deliver an unprepared PowerPoint presentation about, he chose golf, naming Tommy Fleetwood and Scottie Scheffler among his favorites. Zendaya went bigger: she could apparently present on Interstellar in depth, honey.
Fashion Rules, Karaoke Anxiety And A Lot Of Whitney Houston
When the conversation turned to fashion, Holland immediately redirected the question toward “the queen of fashion” beside him. Zendaya rejected the idea of rigid trends, explaining that everything eventually returns and the real rule is simply to wear what makes you feel good.
Karaoke received far less enthusiasm. Zendaya said it makes her anxious because it feels as though she has to perform, while Holland offered an equally firm no. Their rom-com choices were warmer: Shrek earned its rightful classification as a romantic comedy, alongside Something’s Gotta Give.
Their recent listening included plenty of Whitney Houston, plus music Holland struggled to categorize while the puppies continued staging their own action sequence. Zendaya’s most relatable press-tour television obsession, meanwhile, was the show playing on the inside of her eyelids.
Peter And MJ Begin Again In “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”
Between puppy interventions, Zendaya and Holland did manage to discuss Peter Parker and MJ reconnecting in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Holland described approaching their scenes like an acting exercise: perform them as though the two characters had never met.
That reset carries real weight after No Way Home, with Peter now living in a world where the people closest to him no longer remember who he is. The new film opens an entirely different chapter for Peter and MJ rather than simply dropping them back into their old relationship.
The pair also praised their castmates. Zendaya called Robert Pattinson an “agent of chaos” whose bold choices make him exciting to watch, while Holland described Jon Bernthal as a longtime collaborator who brings positivity and energy to set. Sadie Sink, he added, joined the Spidey family with ease and proved herself a complete professional.
