Devon Again lets “snake the drain” get muddy on purpose, folding country-leaning wit into the alt-pop personality that made her one to watch in the first place. Big guitars, a full-band push and her slightly off-center delivery give the song a playful confidence without sanding down the weird little edges that make Devon sound like Devon.
Die Antwoord
Tune: “WHAT DO THEY KNOW?”
Die Antwoord’s “WHAT DO THEY KNOW?” comes from the 2026 album ZAMA ZAMA, where the South African duo again twists rap, electronic production and their deliberately confrontational ZEF identity into something unmistakably theirs. The track runs nearly four minutes and lands early in the album sequence, carrying a darker, more measured pulse than some of their all-out rave detonations while still sounding thoroughly unbothered by anyone else’s rules.
