In a transcontinental fusion of heritage and innovation, Baracuta and N.Hoolywood unveil their first collaborative capsule, bridging Manchester’s iconic craftsmanship with Tokyo’s minimalist precision. Spearheaded by Daisuke Obana, the collection reimagines two of Baracuta’s most iconic silhouettes—the G9 Harrington jacket and the G4-inspired shirt—through the deconstructed lens of N.Hoolywood’s COMPILE sublabel.
The reversible G9 jacket features a shorter, boxier cut, enhanced ribbing, and a wider neckline, while maintaining its windproof and waterproof integrity. The shirt, crafted from Baracuta’s signature check fabric, introduces subtle tailoring tweaks: British semi-wide collar, side-seam pockets, and a round-cut hem with co-branded detailing.
Inspired by Obana’s recent visit to the UK, the capsule channels vintage British tailoring with a modern Japanese twist. It’s a refined take on tradition—where function meets elevated form.
