The Four-LP Set Is Proper Collector Territory
The expanded physical edition is pressed across four 180-gram “Bayou Blue” vinyl LPs and arrives with a 60-page commemorative booklet plus two collectible double-sided art prints.
The price? A cool $149.98. So no, this is not the casual “lemme grab the anniversary vinyl while I’m checking out” version of B’Day. Beyoncé came for collector shelves.
“Morning Dew (Donk)” Finally Joins the B’Day Family
Beyoncé kicked off the anniversary countdown on July 4, 2026 with “Morning Dew (Donk)”, her first new song in two years.
The track was written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixson, with Beyoncé and Pharrell producing. Its release launched a 60-day countdown to September 4 — Beyoncé’s birthday and the exact 20th anniversary of B’Day.
For longtime BeyHive members, the title itself was enough to make ears perk up. “Morning Dew (Donk)” had circulated for years as one of those sought-after unreleased Beyoncé cuts, and now it officially has a home inside the album era it was always associated with.
B’Day Was Beyoncé With the Pedal Already on the Floor
Her 2006 sophomore album did more than solidify Beyoncé’s solo career. It sounded like somebody who had stopped wondering whether she could carry the whole thing and started asking how hard she could push it.
“Déjà Vu,” “Ring the Alarm,” “Irreplaceable,” “Get Me Bodied,” “Upgrade U,” “Green Light” — the album moved through funk, R&B, pop and hard-driving percussion without sanding down its personality.
