Drew Starkey Trades the Soundstage for Dior at LACMA

Actor turned model Drew Starkey is strutting his looks for Dior’s Spring 2027 campaign, and Jonathan Anderson has taken him somewhere slightly more cultured than your average studio backdrop: the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Starkey moves through the galleries in a wardrobe that feels intentionally relaxed against all that art — loose plaid, faded denim, black tailoring and the kind of casual layering that lets the clothes breathe without turning the campaign into a costume exercise.

Jonathan Anderson Keeps the Wardrobe Personal
The campaign leans into the kind of clothes Anderson himself has long favored: plaid shirts, lived-in denim and pieces that sit somewhere between polished and everyday. On Starkey, that tension works. He can carry the looser, more familiar looks without making them feel too ordinary, then pivot into sharper black tailoring without losing the laid-back tone.
It is also not Starkey’s first time in Anderson’s orbit. He previously appeared in Loewe campaigns during Anderson’s tenure there, so the Dior casting feels less like a random celebrity placement and more like a continuation of an established creative relationship.

Art, Tailoring and One Very Good Dior Casting
The museum setting does plenty of work without swallowing the clothes. Starkey appears alongside paintings by artists including Frans Hals and Adriaen Coorte, giving the campaign a little old-master gravitas while the styling keeps the whole thing contemporary.
It is a strong fit for Starkey, whose screen career has already made him a recognizable face while fashion keeps pulling him further into its own orbit. Dior’s Spring 2027 campaign does not ask him to become somebody else. It simply lets that actor-model crossover do what it does best: make the clothes feel lived in rather than displayed.
The collection is scheduled to arrive in selected Dior stores and online on October 22, 2026.
