One man. Four countries. Zero shame. HBO Max has unleashed the official trailer for Conan O’Brien Must Go Season 3, and Conan is once again taking his particular brand of international diplomacy somewhere it was absolutely not requested.
The Emmy-winning travel series returns August 21, 2026 with four new episodes rolling out weekly. This time, Conan O’Brien heads to India, the Philippines, the Netherlands and Morocco, reconnecting with fans while throwing himself directly into the local culture—and usually finding the least dignified possible way to do it.

The format remains beautifully simple: Conan visits people he first connected with through Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan, then lets the destination, the locals and his own inability to behave normally do the rest. HBO describes the show as a travel series built around experiencing local cultures and reconnecting with those podcast fans in person.
Season 3 also keeps things compact. HBO Max has confirmed four episodes, with one arriving each week beginning August 21. The show is produced by Conaco, with Conan O’Brien and Jeff Ross serving as executive producers.
And judging by the trailer’s own mission statement—“one man, four countries, zero shame”—nobody involved appears interested in suddenly making this a tasteful travelogue. Thank goodness.
