Season 3 premiered August 21, 2026, with the India episode kicking off a four-country run that also includes the Netherlands, Morocco and the Philippines. HBO describes the series as Conan experiencing local cultures while reconnecting with fans he first met through his podcast.
In Mumbai, that means public transportation, monkey business, helping a fan launch a talk show — and, because this is Conan, somehow winding up at a traditional open-air laundry operation where his own shirt quickly becomes optional.
Conan’s India Episode Is Exactly the Kind of Chaos We Wanted
The beauty of Conan O’Brien Must Go has never been that Conan pretends to be a polished travel guide. He does almost the opposite. He walks into unfamiliar places, talks to people, lets the interaction wander and waits for something delightfully awkward to happen.
That approach fits India particularly well. The premiere takes him through Mumbai’s commuter train system and other corners of the city, but the laundry stop is pure Conan: curious enough to genuinely participate, unserious enough to make the whole thing weird, and apparently willing to lose the shirt if the bit demands it.
And that is why he gets thee Mancrush designation this week. Not because this is suddenly a shirtless-calendar operation — although Conan clearly came prepared to test that theory — but because few performers can turn looking completely out of place into something this charming.
