KML slows Paris down with desert-light menswear and moving shapes

KML brought its Spring/Summer 2027 unveiling to Paris Fashion Week with the kind of presence that does not need to shout. It breathes, it drapes, it moves, and then it quietly takes over the room.
The Saudi-born label’s latest collection leaned into sand-toned ease, fluid construction, neutral shades, and garment shapes built for heat, air, and movement. The presentation unfolded with a sand-colored floor, draped textiles above, barefoot models, and a short film centered on dances from Saudi regions — a scene that made the clothes feel less like runway costume and more like an extension of cultural rhythm.
SHOP THE MOOD
Soft structure, desert neutrals, summer motion.
KML’s SS27 energy lives in breathable layers, grounded sandals, and pieces that move instead of overworking the look.
There is a strong conceptual thread here: inherited shapes meeting contemporary construction. KML works in a language of restraint, but the details bring the drama — fringe tassels at sleeves, cinched backs, belted movement, and pants finished with texture. The palette stays grounded in white, grey, black, and desert-neutral tones, letting shape and fabric do the talking.
That is where the collection finds its sweet spot. The clothes are minimal, yes, but never empty. The silhouettes carry history without feeling trapped inside it, turning traditional references into something present, wearable, and quietly cinematic.
