I have been dying for a cute pair of overalls and it looks like I’m not alone!
One of my new favorite pieces for spring/summer is a pair of shorts overalls I bought at a thrift store in Denver. They feel effortless and cool and can be worn so many different ways. Since then, I’ve spotted them on a few other stylish ladies around NYC and I’m pretty sure Alexa Chung has stepped out in a pair once or twice. The Man Repeller even wrote a post about them so they must be a trend. And one that’s pretty easy to pull off–and perfect for outdoorsy things like summer barbecues.
You can go the thrift store route, or spend a few more bucks on something a little more stylish. To avoid looking like a farmer, we’d suggest picking from the 10 we’ve chosen for you here, and just make sure you don’t pair them with a wifebeater or a flannel. Breton stripe shirts, silk blouses and crop tops seem to work well.
