The Kelly Clarkson Show has officially signed off after seven seasons, ending its run on August 31 with a finale built around the thing that made the show feel different from almost everything else in daytime: Kelly, a microphone, a band, and people who actually seemed happy to be there.
The farewell hour, dubbed “Kelly by Request,” turned the finale into a fan-driven musical send-off. Clarkson revisited songs from her own catalog, delivered one last round of Kellyoke, debuted new music on television and closed the chapter with her children, River and Remy, joining the final goodbye.

The series premiered in 2019 and ultimately ran for more than 1,200 episodes, winning 24 Daytime Emmy Awards along the way. But the numbers only tell half of it. The show became one of the rare daytime spaces where a huge pop star could belt a rock song at 10 in the morning, interview an A-lister five minutes later, then turn the spotlight toward an ordinary person doing something genuinely good.
Clarkson had already announced that Season 7 would be the last, explaining that stepping away from the daily schedule would let her prioritize her children. The finale brought that decision full circle when River and Remy appeared as part of the goodbye.
