Friend of INYIM Media and certified music master Brittany Howard is putting her ears on the line for Track Star* — although calling this one a simple music-knowledge test undersells what happens once Howard gets going.
The acclaimed solo artist and Alabama Shakes lead singer joins host Jack Coyne to work through classic funk, rock and doo-wop while unpacking the personal and historical weight behind the records. The result is part guessing game, part music-history hang and very much a reminder that Howard does not just listen to songs — she studies what makes them move.
