“You don’t need a holiday to have a parade.” That is the operating principle behind Personal Parade, the Ukrainian label turning men’s underwear and swimwear into a daily invitation to be brighter, bolder and considerably less interested in boring black boxers.

For its Summer 2024 campaign, the Kyiv-born brand headed to Costa Brava with photographer Serhii Vasyliev and models Andriy Khylevych, Mihael Belilov and Harrison Sheehan. The result plays like a hazy Mediterranean romance where silk, lace, swim briefs and sun-soaked mischief all share the lead.

Personal Parade calls its pieces men’s pleasure wear—clothes designed to express the person wearing them rather than force him into somebody else’s idea of masculinity.

Personal Parade Started With Boxers and Refused to Behave

The brand began during the pandemic, when an ambitious launch plan gave way to something more immediate: silk-taffeta boxers for people suddenly spending a great deal of time at home. Lace boxers and shorts followed, caught attention online and helped establish Personal Parade’s cheeky, hedonistic point of view.

Its signature language now stretches across lace shorts, bandana-style swimwear, silk pieces and custom-logo fabrics. Small assortments are meant to be mixed rather than treated as rigid uniforms.

The label is not trying to make menswear more “masculine.” It is trying to make it more personal.

That attitude is visible in the brand manifesto, which salutes anyone willing to stand out, remain bright and reject the restrictions that have kept men’s intimate apparel trapped between plain cotton and a very limited imagination.

A Mediterranean Romance Became the Campaign’s Creative Engine

The Costa Brava setting gives the collection exactly the atmosphere it wants: warm light, open water, private moments and the temporary freedom of a summer romance that does not need to explain where it is going next.

Harrison Sheehan served as the campaign’s guest creative director and film director, shaping the project like a nostalgic movie trailer. Alberto S. Muñoz handled cinematography, Ira Lan styled the project and Kristina Liuta served as line producer.

The campaign asks whether it is acceptable to want more even when life already appears complete. Personal Parade’s answer is an enthusiastic yes—preferably delivered somewhere near the sea in a very good pair of shorts.

The Clothes Treat Self-Expression as the Main Event

Personal Parade’s use of silk, lace, pure cotton, recycled textiles and custom-developed materials gives the collection its tactile personality. The pieces are intimate, but the brand does not approach intimacy as something that needs to hide.

Instead, the campaign makes private style visible. Color, transparency, texture and swim silhouettes become part of the characters’ emotional world rather than simple product placement.

The parade is personal because the person—not an outdated dress code—gets to decide what celebration looks like.

The sequence works as a complete editorial rather than a simple product lineup: a bright, intimate little movie where the wardrobe supports the story and the story keeps wandering back toward the water.
