Melanie C is by far the genuine artist that made up the 1990s seminal gal group The Spice Girls.

While Scary plays host, Posh makes aprons and whatnot. Baby is doing her thing on the airwaves and online. Ginger is being Ginger. But it’s Sporty, aka Melanie C, who has spent the last 25 years building a rock-steady, outstanding catalogue—time and time again.

Now, in the present time—Autumn of 2025—Melanie C has done it yet again.
Unleashing a joyful new disco-pop dance track: “Sweat.”
Following the music video unveiling, today we have the debut live performance of it!

She clearly just wants to have some fun and get people dancing again.

The disco-pop song, which also serves as the title track for her ninth studio album, samples Diana Ross’s 1982 single “Work That Body” and channels vintage workout video energy.

“Sports, raving, finding joy—these elements are such a huge part of my personality,” the singer said of the track. “What works in the club works in the gym—there’s a real crossover.”
With a twirl of a wand and a little Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah stardust, get ready to get into the Melanie C groove down below.
