Blu DeTiger Makes “Moxie” Hit Even Harder Live

Song Choice of the Day: thee magnificent bass queen and singer Blu DeTiger performing “Moxie.”
The track comes from Blu’s debut album, All I Ever Want Is Everything, released March 29, 2024 via Capitol Records. “Moxie” sits right in the middle of the record at track six, where Blu’s bass-first instinct meets one of the album’s more emotionally bruised songs.
For this INYIM presentation, we took the available live-performance footage and paired it with the cleaner official album audio — keeping the visual energy of the performance while letting the studio version punch through.

BLU DETIGER — “MOXIE”
One of Blu DeTiger’s strongest debut-album cuts, “Moxie” balances bass-heavy groove with a surprisingly tender emotional core.

“Moxie” Is a Softer Song With a Heavy Bass Backbone
On All I Ever Want Is Everything, Blu moves through art-pop, electroclash, disco, funk and alt-pop without ever letting the bass disappear into the background.
“Moxie” is one of the record’s more vulnerable moments, but the groove keeps it from collapsing into ballad territory. The bassline still leads, only this time it is carrying a song about regret, distance and somebody you cannot quite stop thinking about.
That mix is exactly why Blu remains such an INYIM favorite: she can make a song emotionally heavy without making the arrangement feel weighed down.
