Haiku Hands are an Australian electronic performance group formed by Claire and Mie Nakazawa and Beatrice Lewis, with Mataya Young joining their live lineup. Emerging in 2017 from Sydney and Melbourne’s festival and club scenes, they built a reputation for choreographed, high-energy shows and tracks such as “Not About You,” “Dare You Not to Dance” and “Fashion Model Art.” Their self-titled debut and 2023’s Pleasure Beast combine electropop, house, hip-hop cadences and irreverent group vocals into music designed as much for physical performance as for headphones.
