Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains are an indie-pop project led by French singer-songwriter François Marry. Developed during Marry’s years in Bristol before becoming closely associated with the French independent scene, the group blends folk-pop, art pop, African-influenced guitar rhythms and electronic textures. Albums including E Volo Love, Piano Ombre, Solide Mirage, Banane Bleue and 2026’s Halage pair melodic experimentation with bilingual songwriting and a light rhythmic touch, making the project one of France’s most distinctive long-running indie-pop exports.
