Today’s “Present Day Developments” features a rare snow and ice covering at sand dunes in the Sahara Desert near Ain Sefra, Algeria, Turning orange, looking like a make-up palete of some sort. Ethereal, neat, and a majestic landscape.

A mixed race of white wonderland and orange pizazz. It was all caused by cold, high-pressure air systems plunging temperatures!

Events occur when cold, moist air hits high-altitude areas of the Sahara.

Mother nature never ceases to astound!
