Back in 2008, Solange Knowles dropped a gem with “I Decided” from her second studio album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. This track is a fun blend of retro vibes and modern flair, featuring hand-claps from The Supremes’ 1964 hit “Where Did Our Love Go” and a melody inspired by Martha and the Vandellas’ 1963 classic “(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave.”

Released as the album’s lead single on April 22, 2008, “I Decided” takes us on a nostalgic trip with Solange’s unique twist. Let’s groove below!
