Jake Bugg returns with On My One is the third studio album by the English indie rock singer-songwriter. With sounds on the alternative rock side, Bugg shows his maturity with darker, bitter lyrics and speaking on songwriting – “On My One” derives from a Nottingham dictum saying “On My Own”, that Jake Bugg has changed in “On My One”. Bugg said “In a lot of ways, it sums up this record because it mainly has been me on my own. I saw this as the logical next step in my development as a songwriter. It was a challenge but something I felt I had to do.
