Cardi B brought the drama, the glitter, the choreo and, most vitally, the hits to the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival — turning her Friday-night set into one of those Cardi performances where subtlety simply was not invited.

It all went down at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 18, the first night of the two-day festival. Cardi came out swinging in a sparkling zebra-print bodysuit with red fringe and worked through a set packed with fan favorites, collaborations and newer material. iHeartRadio’s own recap put it plainly: Bardi brought “all the hits” to Vegas.

The run included “WAP,” “Bodak Yellow,” “Up,” “I Like It,” “Finesse,” “Taki Taki,” “Hello,” “ErrTime,” “Bodega Baddie,” “Pretty & Petty” and her latest single, “AH HA.” In other words, Cardi did not come to give a polite festival sampler. She came to remind the room just how deep the catalog already runs.

What worked best was the pacing. The set moved between the big crossover records and the harder-edged Cardi cuts without losing momentum. “I Like It” and “Finesse” gave the crowd the giant sing-along moments, while “Bodega Baddie”, “ErrTime” and “Pretty & Petty” kept the performance rooted in the sharper, newer chapter of her catalog.

And visually, Cardi was Cardi. Sparkle, fringe, attitude, full-body choreography and enough stage command to make a festival set feel like her own show. The original INYIM line had it right: she blew the thing open.

Cardi was part of the Friday lineup alongside BTS, Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Weezer and Zara Larsson, while the full 2026 festival stretched across September 18 and 19 with acts including Benson Boone, Ciara, Lainey Wilson, LE SSERAFIM, Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg and The Smashing Pumpkins.

But for this set, the formula was beautifully uncomplicated: show up, look ridiculous-in-the-best-way, dance, rap, and unload one recognizable record after another. Cardi knew exactly what kind of room she was walking into and gave it the festival-sized version of herself.
