It feels nocturnal without becoming sleepy, polished without sanding away the tension. Thee Dig of the Week was not a hard call.

“Everything’s Fine (AM)” turns emotional numbness into something unexpectedly danceable. Jennifer Lopez keeps the delivery restrained while Alok builds a clean electronic bed underneath, letting that disconnect between the bright production and uneasy lyric do most of the work.

ANOTR and Emily Warren close the six with a house track that understands restraint. “Silver Lines” keeps the groove smooth and physical while Warren’s vocal gives it a human center, landing somewhere between late-night club record and the thing you suddenly realize you have been humming all afternoon.
