This weekend’s spectacular 2026 Reading & Leeds Festival is fully underway, and naturally we have been collecting thee quality. Before Sunday brings the musical jamboree to its final day, INYIM is looking back at some of the yummiest individual performances to hit the stages over the past 24 hours.
The twin festivals are running across August 27–30, with the 2026 lineup stretching from Charli XCX, RAYE and Florence + The Machine to Fontaines D.C., Dave, Chase & Status, JADE, Declan McKenna and plenty more.

Declan McKenna Performs “Listen to Your Friends” at Reading & Leeds 2026
McKenna reaches back to his debut album What Do You Think About the Car? for one of its enduring fan favorites.
First up is Declan McKenna, bringing “Listen to Your Friends” back into festival-sized life. The track remains one of those early songs that immediately reminds you why McKenna’s songwriting landed so hard in the first place: bright melodies carrying considerably sharper ideas underneath.
JADE Brings “Church” to Reading & Leeds Festival 2026
JADE keeps her solo era moving with “Church,” taken from the expanded edition of That’s Showbiz Baby!
Then there is JADE, strutting straight through “Church” with the theatrical pop confidence that has made her post-Little Mix chapter such a joy to watch. Big hook, big presentation, no fear of actually putting on a show — exactly what a festival stage asks for.

Fontaines D.C. Step Into Their Headliner Era at Reading 2026
The Dublin band made its Reading main-stage headline debut with a set spanning the group’s career and newer material.
Fontaines D.C., meanwhile, arrived at Reading with something larger to prove. Their 2026 appearance marked their debut as main-stage headliners, and the moment felt less like a promotion than a coronation for a band that has spent the last several years expanding far beyond the clubs that first carried them.
The set pulled from across their career while also making room for the next chapter, including newer songs “Marianne” and “Six Shot Morning.” Technical and logistical delays reportedly shortened the performance, but not the sense that Fontaines D.C. have officially crossed into a different tier of festival band.

And this is still only a slice of the weekend. Reading & Leeds continues through Sunday with more sets still rolling across the stages, which means there is plenty more musical pizazz left before everyone finally packs up the tents and heads home.
