Zephyring 15 Years Ago, Rihanna unleashed the eargasmic “We Found Love” feat. Calvin Harris as the lead single from her ‘Talk That Talk’ album.
Released on September 2011, the song paired Rihanna ’s signature vocals with Harris’ euphoric dance production.
“We Found Love” debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, then climbed into the top 10 the following week. By its sixth week, it hit No. 1, giving her 11th chart-topper and Calvin Harris his first.
That tied her with Whitney Houston for fifth place among acts with the most No. 1s in Hot 100 history at the time, behind The Beatles, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and The Supremes. It ultimately became the longest-running No. 1 of 2011.
The visual went on to win Video of the Year at the 2012 MTV VMAs and Best Music Video at the Grammys.
