Yamaneika Saunders is back with another round of questions on You’re The Problem… with Yamaneika!, and this week she is asking why everybody seems to have something to say about Chloe Bailey, mothers, Blackness and even what gets played at a Dominican party.
The August 12 episode — officially titled “Why are Chloe Bailey, Cardi B & marathon moms making everybody mad?” — starts with the question of why Bailey could not play Storm, before Yamaneika and Tyree move into beauty, aging and the pressure placed on people in the public eye to somehow age perfectly.
Then comes the marathon debate. Yamaneika takes on the online criticism aimed at a mother who completed a marathon, asking why moms can seemingly do everything right and still find somebody ready to call them a bad parent.
Blackness, Belonging and a Dominican Party With No Cardi B
The episode’s bigger conversation turns toward Blackness, anti-Blackness and belonging, including one very specific question: how do you throw a Dominican party and somehow not play Cardi B?
From there, Yamaneika gets into an incident involving a white woman using the N-word at one of her shows and pushes at the exhausting expectation that Black people should be the ones making everybody else comfortable whenever racism enters the room.

And because the show never ends with just one problem, listener letters bring friendship boundaries into the mix — along with a very Yamaneika debate over whether certain bedroom activities qualify as a vacation special or a recurring subscription.
Forty-something minutes, plenty of side roads and absolutely no shortage of opinions. Press play on this week’s Yamaneika rant below.
