Twenty-One Models, Their Own Clothes, and Zero Runway Poker Face
Kristiina Wilson and stylist Michelle Carimpong pull together 21 of the moment’s most recognizable young male models for Twenty One Club, a personality-first story for The Ones 2 Watch.
The hook is what makes it: the models wear their own clothes and are given room to mark up their own Polaroids. Instead of another perfectly controlled casting wall of identical expressions, the shoot lets personality sneak through — which, frankly, is much more fun than watching 21 variations of thee same Zoolander face.

It is the kind of shoot that works because it steps away from overproduction. The clothes are theirs, the markings are theirs, and the personalities are allowed to interrupt the usual model machinery. One face would have been enough. Twenty-one is happily excessive.
