There’s more than a hint of throwback charm to him. The California native’s brand of vintage pop-rock, between Richie Valens & James bay. His story is as whimsical as his tunes: Grandpa had boxes of vinyl by the thousands stored in a barn, where young Stevie inevitably fell in love mid-century singers; particularly, Elvis and Roy Orbison became his favorites.
