A Viral Good-Samaritan Story Comes Under Scrutiny

Good News Tonight: Students Stop to Help
And in “Good News Tonight,” Robin Gay was driving home from her volunteer job when her car stopped working. A group of high school students walking home from a nearby game came over to help, directing traffic and pushing the car to a safer spot.
One of the students said he hoped the small act of community “will inspire other people to be kind in the world.” Not a bad way to end the night.

From dangerous weather to a viral story getting a second look and a reminder that teenagers can still save the day, it is a packed September 28 edition.
