Broadway.com is reporting that Lily Allen will write the musical score for thee “Bridget Jones’ Diary” musical. It’s set to premier in the UK next year. This seems like a fine choice to me! Lily’s musique has always seemed somewhat theatrical and very animated. So it comes to no surprise that Lily is taking on this admirable challenge! Here’s to a songwriter who’s notoriously known for scribbling down brutally honest lyrics, just like Bridget herself minus the lyrics.
