Leslie Jones pours one wild cup with Raven and Miranda

Leslie Jones takes a spot of “Tea Time w/ Raven & Miranda.” And this one manages to cover just about every corner of Leslie-land without sanding down the reason she is so damn funny in the first place.
The threesome cover everything from comedy, femininity, roasting, kindness, serial killers and the things that we find comfort in. The official episode title says it best: Leslie Jones: Funny, Feminine and Fascinated by Serial Killers.
Early in the conversation, Leslie brings Raven and Miranda a very Leslie-sized “problem” to solve: how to embrace and project femininity while still feeling completely like her tall, strong, independent self. That opens the door to a much bigger conversation about what femininity actually means when you stop treating it like one narrow set of rules.

Then comes Leslie’s fascination with true crime. She explains the pull of serial-killer stories and behavioral analysis — less about glorifying the people committing the crimes and more about the process of figuring them out. The episode even labels the chapter “Becoming a ‘Serial-Killer Finder.’” Very Leslie.
There is also a timely turn into roasting with a conscience. Leslie talks through the difference between getting laughs and simply being cruel, a subject that fits neatly beside her current HGTV series Roast My Rental. The 11-episode series pairs her with designer Jasmine Roth as they tackle some truly questionable short-term rentals — Leslie roasts the mess, and the team gets to fixing it.

The conversation keeps stretching from there: shock comedy versus changing generational tastes, classic movies, code-switching, aging, and what actually makes a person feel comfortable when nobody else is setting the rules. Raven and Miranda even put Leslie through a real-or-fake rundown of some of her wildest jobs before she signs off.
What works is that the episode never tries to box Jones into one version of herself. She can talk about strength and femininity in one breath, behavioral profiling in another, then swing straight back into comedy without any of it feeling like a hard pivot.
