Clear the calendar and prepare the group chat: the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards officially have a date.
Telemundo and Billboard announced that this year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 22, live from the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The show will air live on Telemundo and stream on Peacock.
The date places the awards directly inside one of Latin music’s busiest industry weeks, with artists, executives, creators and fans already gathering across Miami for panels, performances and the kind of conversations that tend to become tomorrow’s collaborations.

The ceremony honors the year’s leading artists, albums and songs based on the performance data behind Billboard’s weekly charts. That means the results are tied to measurable sales, streaming activity, radio airplay and social data collected during the eligibility period—not merely a mysterious room of people deciding who looked cutest on the carpet.
As usual, the broadcast is also expected to turn the chart story into a full stage spectacle, with live performances spanning the wide range of sounds currently shaping Latin music, including Latin pop, tropical music, urbano and música mexicana.
The awards will coincide with the 37th edition of Billboard Latin Music Week, scheduled for October 19 through October 22 at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach. The annual gathering brings together major artists and industry leaders for exclusive conversations, business panels, showcases and networking events before the televised celebration closes out the week.
Nominees, performers, presenters, special honorees and the official broadcast time have not yet been announced. Those details are expected to roll out closer to the ceremony, which means the date is locked while the actual chaos is still loading.
For now, the important part is simple: Thursday, October 22, 2026. Miami. Telemundo. Peacock. Latin music’s chart leaders all heading toward the same stage.
