Golden Globes Make Room for Cecil B. DeMille & Carol Burnett Awards Spin-Off Inaugural Show.

Whoo-Hoo! Another brand new award show. We’re here for it!

Presenting two major career-achievement awards during a live broadcast almost always sends the program into overtime. But—like abracadabra and a spell wand twirl—CBS and Dick Clark Productions have conjured an antidote.

Introducing: “Golden Eve,” a brand-new one-hour primetime special honoring the recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Carol Burnett Award.

This spin-off show is designed to give these legendary honors their own spotlight, away from the time crunch of the main event. It’s a celebration of lifetime achievement, legacy, and the stars who’ve shaped entertainment history.

The inaugural “Golden Eve” will air coast-to-coast on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+.

Yippee ki yay, we cannot wait!
