And because we must say it loud and proud: All the good men are here on INYIM!

But the announcement didn’t come alone. Debbii shared a deeply personal message on TikTok, revealing the emotional landscape that shaped the EP — a raw, vulnerable press‑release‑in‑her‑own‑words moment that gives the project its heartbeat.

Debbii Dawson’s Full Statement

“Last year I split my time between the studio & the road, performing & working on a project. I was showing up to the studio & writing about love & dancing which I know we need more of now more than ever — but I was spending my nights tossing & turning from nightmares, worrying about the safety & future of my family & friends. Everything seemed to be on fire & the flames only kept getting higher.

It became increasingly difficult to function as though the world was the same one I knew as a child, I know many of you feel this way as well. The awful things I was seeing on the news everyday weren’t just events happening on distant shores, they were & are deeply personal things that affect people I know & love. And ‘if one of us is hurting, aren’t we all in pain?’

So I paused to write what was in my heart; the fears & hopelessness, the feelings of betrayal from people we were supposed to trust… I’m going to be sharing these feelings with you in an EP, these songs were born out of anger & grief but I didn’t want to write them from a place of defeat. I want these songs to move people, not just on the dance floor, but also to action.

Good people seem hard to come by these days, but I believe that if we each try to be the good we’re so desperately looking for we just might have a chance.

My EP Where Have All The Good Men Gone? will be coming out on 6/26 and the title track drops tonight ❤️”
