Doesnt seem like performing legend Cher is going any where anytime soon as again she has announced that she is returning to the dance floor with a new to tour to coincide with her new dance album.
As of 2011, Cher is recording her first studio album since Living Proof in 2001. She initially talked of recording a rock album in Nashville, leading to speculation that it would be country-oriented. Cher has since stated on Twitter that the record will be “way dance”. Lady Gaga wrote a song for the album, entitled “The Greatest Thing”, recorded as a duet between the two singers and produced by RedOne.
In February 2012, Cher announced via Twitter that she would embark on a tour in September 2012. She also tweeted that she had seen the sets for the show, and that “the whole set/look changes 4 (for) every song”. The tour will start in Kansas, marking her first tour since her Farewell Tour ended in 2005.
