The performance comes from the group’s live album Uau! Babado Novo Em Salvador, released through Universal Music in 2004. The set captured Babado Novo in full carnival-ready motion, with Leitte commanding the stage years before launching her solo career.

“Lirirrixa” is all pulse, call-and-response and mischievous live-wire attitude. There is no slow introduction and no polite easing into the groove—Claudia arrives already switched on, the band hits hard behind her and the crowd is expected to catch up immediately.
