Newly-Discovered Recording Of Pilot Amelia Earhart

We’ve long been fascinated and astounded by the legendary pioneer pilot Amelia Earhart.

A century later. A decade come and gone. Now there’s a newly revived 94 year vintage recording of Amelia Earhart from May 1932.

Using advanced digital technology, the Library of Congress restored the audio, in which Earhart describes a terrifying, critical failure of her altimeter.
